What one credit buys
- One Bitcoin mainnet transaction with the SHA-256 hash of your record in an OP_RETURN output.
- A PDF certificate with the transaction ID, the hash, a QR code and a verification link, emailed to you and re-downloadable from your dashboard (colour and printable versions).
- A proof.json file with the exact data that was hashed, so the proof can be verified without icalledit.
- A public verification page that shows the hash, the transaction and its status. Your title and name appear there only if you switch that on.
- Optional extras at no additional cost: attach a file hash (in the Protect flow the file is hashed in your browser and not uploaded), invite witnesses by email, group registrations into projects and chain follow-ups.
- A dedication (a registration gifted to someone, with a gift certificate emailed to them) is also one registration and uses one credit.
What is free
Creating an account is free, and with zero credits you can walk through the whole process and see a preview of what you would receive. A preview is not written to Bitcoin and is not a proof. There is no free on-chain registration. Looking up and verifying certificates is free for everyone, with no account.
What you are — and are not — paying for
You are paying for permanent, independently verifiable evidence that specific content existed at a specific time. You are not buying a patent, a trademark, a copyright registration or legal advice, and a timestamp does not prove authorship or ownership. If you are not sure which tool you need, read our comparison of the options first — for some situations we are the wrong choice.
Refund policy
Once a registration has been written to Bitcoin, it cannot be refunded. Blockchain transactions are irreversible by design — that same irreversibility is what makes your proof tamper-evident and permanent. Once your hash is recorded on the Bitcoin blockchain, it cannot be undone, edited or removed by anyone, including us. That is the core feature you are paying for.
The free preview lets you walk through the entire process before you pay, so you can see exactly what you will receive.
Details: Refund policy.

Is there a free plan?
Creating an account and previewing the process is free. A preview is not written to Bitcoin. A real registration always uses one paid credit.
Is this a subscription?
No. Every pack is a one-time payment in US dollars. There are no recurring charges.
What does one credit buy?
One registration: one Bitcoin mainnet transaction carrying your hash, a PDF certificate, a proof.json file and a public verification page.
Can I get a refund?
Once a registration has been written to Bitcoin it cannot be refunded, because the transaction is irreversible. Use the free preview first to see what you will receive.
